I am delighted to present the information , “ABILITY BEYOND DISABILITY” Student of Donyi Polo Mission School for the Hearing Impaired. The School besides highlighting the activities of institution focuses about the innate potentialities of the differently able children who require everybody’s support, and encouragement for proper education, training and to adopt holistic approach of rehabilitation.
I must salute the noble thoughts and vision of Sri Gegong Apang, Hon’ble Chairman for laying the foundation stone of the school during 1990 which has been playing its vibrant role in bringing the differently able into mainstream.
Started in a humble manner with three children, the institution has reached to its height being its roll strength now as 106 and during these years 71 hearing impaired students have passed out from the school, mostly of them are engaged in Govt. Jobs and other establishment. I convey my deepest thanks to all benevolent personalities who have extended their physical, moral and financial support to bring the brochure a successful one. On the occasion, I extend my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all my sincere dedicated staff who have extended their fullest effort and cooperation for the cause in the service of humanity and have made the event a successful and meaningful one in all respect. In the end, I wish my loving students every success.
